In the Cricket world, the Indian Premier League is in no doubt the most brutal league with matches that take stamina and skill. It is mainly because it has a lot of attention and numerous establishments. Therefore, it has always been hard for some cricketers to sparkle in the most excellent T20 game on the planet. The IPL is the ideal phase to test the strength of the players. However, the strength of the players is also determined in the PSL tournament. With the PSL, players can achieve the highest level of success.

Both IPL and PSL are high-ranking matches in T20 cricket. Therefore, for any player who can play and give a good reputation in both games, they are mainly highly regarded and are mostly in the PSL 2021 player list. But there are those players who, when it comes to displaying their actual strength in the PSL, have shockingly broken down, unlike when they are in IPL, where they overflow with energy. 

Here is a list of ten IPL players who are not a part of PSL;

Chris Gayle

Gayle, popularly known as “the Universe Boss,” is a constant sheer performer of the game. He is constantly engaging his fans with his attacking and fearless brand of cricket. For the IPL, he played 140 games where he had numerous establishments. He scored 4950 runs at an average of 40.24 while he played for the KKR, RCB, and PBKS. But while he played 16 games in PSL for Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, and Quetta Gladiators, he scored 370 runs at an average of 23.12. 

Brendon McCullum

He is a retired New Zealand legend. But during his games, he was among the best batsmen. While playing in IPL for RCB, Kochi Tuskers Kerala Gujarat lions, CSK, and KKR, he made 2880 runs at a strike rate of 131.74. When he represented Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, he played 18 games and only scored 311 runs at a strike rate of 114.33. 

Lendl Simmons

Simmons is a powerful batsman in T20 cricket. While playing for the Mumbai Indians, he registered 1079 runs in 29 games at an average of 39.86. But during the PSL league, he only scored 210 runs in eight games at an average of 20.85.

Kevin Pietersen

Kevin is among the essential cricketers of England in history, but he is among the IPL players who are not a part of PSL. In the IPL, he scored 1001 at a strike rate of 134.72 but only registered 611 runs at an average of 26 in the PSL. 

Moeen Ali

The all-rounder played for the RCB and CSK in the IPL and scored 515 runs at an average of 24.52 and a strike rate of 157.97. However, when playing for the PSL, he failed to score only 138 runs at an average of 17.25 and strike rate of 106.74.

Andre Russell

Russell has simple whacks that makes him one of the powerful batsman. He has been loyal to the KKR, and he has scored 1680 runs taking 68 wickets in 81 games. During this, Andre had an average of 29.47 and a strike rate of 179.29. However, he failed to perform well in the PSL as he scored 135 runs at an average of 12 while playing for Multan Sultan and Islamabad United. 

Dwayne Bravo

Bravo is a player who can bat, bowl and field well, just like Andre. He is in the fourth position in the best wicket-takers in IPL as he took 156 wickets in 144 matches at an economy of 8.38. He scored 1510 runs at a bowling rate of 22.87 at a strike rate of 130. But for the PSL, he got 11 wickets, 134 runs, and an average of 14.89 in 14 games. 

Dale Steyn

The right-arm fast pacer is an excellent cog of South Africa. Unfortunately, he did not appear in the IPL 2021. But for the last IPL, he played he has scored 97 wickets at an economy of 6.91 in 95 games. For PSL, he took seven wickets in 7 matches at an economy of 9. 

Mujeeb Ur Rahman

He got the attention when he weaved the magic in the form of spin bowling. In the IPL, he has played 19 games where he got 19 dismissals at an economy of 8.18. But when playing for PSL, he took just two wickets at an economy of 8.56. 

Mitchell McClenaghan

In ICC champions, Mitchel scored most wickets. He represented the Mumbai Indians in IPL and played 56 games taking 71 wickets at 8.49. But he has not played well in the PSL as he only took five games, got two wickets at a bowling average of 78.
