IPL 2021: RCB Beat DC by 7 Wickets

Royal Challengers Srikar Bharat tried to maintain the last-ball six, which later gave the RCB victory of 78 off 52 balls. Bharat had partnered with Maxwell to put up 111-run together for four wickets. Their move made their team win the phase of the league in style. After the openers Kohli and Padikkal were dismissed by six runs, Royal Challengers Bangalore had a hard time trying to chase 165. AB de Villiers also made his point with a run-a-ball before he gave up to Axar.

Players Bharat and Maxwell tried their best to maintain the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the top. They scored a good number of runs which became helpful along the way for their team. They managed to record 19 runs off 12 balls, and later on, Anrich Nortje made a fantastic bowl making the score to 15 off the last over. When the match started, Avesh Khan conceded a four but later on, he recovered, which left the Royal Challengers in need of six off the last ball.

Royal Challengers made 166/3 in 20 overs, Avesh managed to smash the first ball past the long-off. Maxwell also made his fifty, which was the sixth in the season. Royal Challengers managed to finish the league stage with 18 points on the points table, making them position three. On 11th October, the Royal Challengers Will be facing Kolkata Knight Riders in an elimination match. On the other hand, Delhi Capitals are still on the top of the points table with 20 points. They will later face Chennai Super Kings in the Qualifier 1 game on 10th October.

KS Bharat maintained the pace for the Royal Challengers, and he hit a six on the final ball when his team needed five runs to take the victory. With 78 runs on a Not Out, he led the Challengers to win in their last league match. Maxwell added to the win by hitting his half-century. Nortje made a perfect bowl in the 19th over when the Royal Challengers needed 19. His bowl set the pace for RCB as they continued on the search for bigger hits. 

After Nortje made his over, the Royal Challengers hit 150/3 after 19 overs, and they needed 15 more from the last six balls to make a historic win. Bharat made his maiden off two runs of the first ball of the over. On the other hand, Maxwell managed to hit another perfect reverse sweep and another four. One ball still left the over, and by this time, the Royal Challengers had hit 119/3 in 16 overs when they went off for a timeout.

Shimron managed to catch the final ball of the inning; by that time, Delhi Capitals were at 164/5 in 20 overs. Shimron also made sure to hammer Harshal Patel for a six, which was the most fantastic shot for a six. On the other hand, Shreyas was becoming impatient and frustrated. He then tried going for the big hit, which he mistimed and was instead caught by Christian.
