The short white-ball Series between the England Players and Bangladesh players has been confirmed to take part in early next year. The postponement allows for players such as; Sam Curran, Eoin Moran, Liam Livingstone, Moeen Ali, Jofra Archer, Tom Curran, and Jon Bairstow to represent their franchise in the Indian Premier League as the IPL begins in September.
A UK newspaper report stated that England was to visit Bangladesh for three T20 internationals and three ODI, which would have collided with the required presence of the England players in IPL 2021. Thus, the postponement will give the England players a comfortable time representing whatever IPL franchise that accommodates them. Also, they will be expected to join other IPL 2021 players.
The schedule change in the Indian Premier League 2021 and released new IPL 2021 schedule, now IPL also afforded players enough time for preparations. Therefore, this year’s IPL competition is expected to be very stiff.
Furthermore, it is also expected that the England IPL players will charter the same flight as Manchester to Dubai.
The Indian premier league 2021 was postponed earlier in May due to several COVID-19 cases in the player’s bubble. Currently, only 31 matches are left.
Over 50 IPL world champions are in the move to gain the ICC T20 world cup, which they had won in 2010 in the West Indies. However, some players like Liam Livingstone, England’s white-ball team player, pulled out of the IPL because of fatigue from the team bubble in a bid to take care of his mental health.
