The Barbados franchise, a representative franchise cricket team of Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League, will change its name to Barbados Royals, having signed a deal with the Royals Sports Group- EM Sporting Holdings Ltd. The splendid Royal Sports Group is the owner of Rajasthan Royals, a superior IPL franchise and one of the leading teams.
The owner of Rajasthan Royals and the Chairperson of the Royals Sports Group, Manoj Badale, commented on this. He added, “We are more than happy to sign this deal with Manish Patel to obtain a majority stake in the Barbados CPL franchise. We are highly thankful to the Barbados government for their consistent guidance, and we look forward to creating a positive result on both cricket and tourism for the nation. We have ambitious plans for the Royals brand globally, and this is a critical strategic step.” This shows how excited the Royal Sports Group is to start its journey by collaborating with the Barbados Franchise.
Thus, both the Chairperson of the Royal Sports Group and the head of the Barbados Franchise in CPL 2021 are grateful for their agreed partnership and wish to expand the global presence. Their collaboration will help glorify the Royal Sports Group and the Barbados Royals to a great extent.
