  • The MI team 2021 players list again has Nathan Coulter Nile. Mumbai Indians re-signed him this year after being released. They bought the Aussie pacer for five crores during the auction.
  • One of the most significant additions in MI 2021 New Players List was Piyush Chawla, formerly a Chennai Super Kings player.
  • The star son Arjun Tendulkar is also bought as a great long run added to the team.
  • The average team age calculated this year is 38, with five batsmen, ten bowlers, seven all-rounders and three wicketkeepers.
  • The purse amount of 2021 was 85 crores which, after spending 81.35 crores during the auction, ended at a remaining 3.65 crores.
