Rajasthan Royals Beat Punjab Kings By 2 Runs In IPL 2021

When Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals started at the Indian Premier League, everyone expected the Kings to win as they had taken an early lead. Punjab needed extra four runs to take the victory, but things took a drastic turn. The star of the match, Kartik Tyagi, turned things around by taking two wickets and one run in his final spell.

Everyone was left shocked by the turn of events of the PBKS v RR IPL match. Earlier in the game, Punjab Kings bowled the Royals for 185 in 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals had Yashaswi Jaiswal the top scorer for the game as Mahipal Lomror added 43 to the team’s record. On three occasions, Rahul was dropped by Royals which allowed him to reach 49 at the end,

However, Rajasthan Royals were ably helped by Mustafizur Rahman and Kartik Tyagi. There were eight runs needed off 12 balls and eight wickets by the team. During the penultimate over, Mustafizur conceded four singles off.

As the game progressed, RR vs. PBKS predictions showed the odds were in favor of Punjab Kings as they entered the final over with their best players Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram hitting 32 and 25 respectively in the middle of a half-century. After Markram made a single, Pooran attempted to steer, which landed on Sanju Samson’s gloves. Markram did not get to strike for an excellent remaining portion of the over.

Rajasthan Royals got a promising opening of IPL 2021 by Evin Lewis and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The duo put up a 54-run stand which was dominated by West Indian Left-hander. Arshdeep induced a false drive which broke the sand to give extra cover. Afterward, Agarwal caught the ring removing Lewis for 36. When this was happening, Jaiswal took 40 of the first ten overs, including five fours and two sixes.

Jaiswal made his way through the next four overs and reached 49 before attempting to flick through midwicket. According to IPL 2021 match prediction, the match was supposed to end head-to-head, but Rajasthan Royals proved themselves worthy of the title.
