The Indian Premier League’s 2nd half will be starting soon in the UAE. Most of the players have already reached the desert country and are currently practicing, exercising, and keeping themselves in form for the upcoming IPL games.
On the other hand, former skipper and mainstay of the Sunrisers Hyderabad, David Warner, has posted a video of him working out at the gym. This clearly shows that he is keeping his body in good condition to perform exceptionally well in the 2nd leg of the cash-rich league.
Being one of the leading Sunrisers Hyderabad team players, the Aussie hard-hitter confirmed that he would participate in the 2nd phase of the IPL 2021 season on August 10th, 2021. He posted on this IG that he will be coming back to the grid soon. Previously, the Orange Army removed Warner from the captain’s position because of his poor form during the 1st half of the 2021 IPL season.
The team decided to appoint New Zealand’s Kane Williamson as the new skipper of the team. Despite all that, David Warner is still pretty excited to play with SRH again. He said he is grateful that he is included in the SRH players list and surely performs well in UAE.
The 34-year-old displayed a remarkable performance with a willow during the first leg of the cash-rich league right before it was postponed due to COVID-19. He played six innings for SRH, and within those innings, he scored 193 runs and had an excellent batting average of 32.16. But Warner failed to lead the side as its captain even when he was so good with the bat.
The 2nd leg of the IPL 2021 will soon take place. BCCI has released the 2nd phased IPL 2021 schedule, and David Warner is all set to hit some boundaries and over boundaries for his team. Even though he couldn’t lead well as the captain, he will surely do well as a batsman.
