Trinbago Knight Riders Name CPL 2021 Retainers

The Trinbago Knight Riders confirmed that they would retain their victorious squad of 2020 of 13 team members. They will be defending them for the Caribbean Premier League title. The team’s captain, last season’s player number one, Kieron Pollard, has also returned to help lead the team to victory again.

After securing the unbeatable last season’s role, players Colin Munro, Lendl Simmons, and Darren Bravo will also be back for the game. As much as the Trinbago Knight Riders have retained most of their players, they have also added a few new names to the list. The strong squad is a guarantee that the Trinbago knight Riders will take victory home like last year.

The franchise has signed up the renowned Nepalese leg-spinner, and the Caribbean pace bowler will also be joining the team. Ravi Rampaul is among the lucky players to join the Trinbago knight Riders this year ahead of the Caribbean Premier League Draft. The Trinbago Knight Riders have made sure to secure their sections by getting the services of the likes of Isuru Udana from Sri Lanka and Sikandar Raza from Zimbabwe.

During the trade window that took place last month, Denesh Ramdin, wicket-keeper, joined the TKR. Trinbago Knight Riders name CPL 2021 as follows; Sunil Narine, Colin Munro, Lendl Simmons, Kieron Pollard, Darren Bravo, Sikandar Raza, Khary Pierre, Denesh Ramdin, Anderson Philip, Tion Webster, Jayden Seales, Akeal Hoesin, and Ali Khan.

Although the Trinbago Knight Riders are trying to build a solid team to bring the Caribbean Premier League championship home, they were forced to trade Bravo. They traded him to St. Kitts and the Nevis patriots and got Ramdin in return. The CPL 2021 TKR named some strong players like Jayden Seals, Ali Khan, Ravi Rampaul, Isuru Udana to take on their pace attack.

In addition to that, the TKR has a strong spin attack as their batting section features certain hard-hitters. In the 2020 competition, the Trinbago Knight Riders managed to win all of the league matches before winning the semi-finals and finally moving to win the finals. In this year’s CPL crown, the team will start the game as the people’s favorite.

The CPL 2021 championships are scheduled to kick off on the 28th of August. The games will be played in St. Kitts and Nevis at Warner Park. There will be several stars from different places, including; New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Most of the batsmen, all-rounders, and bowlers are eager to get inclusion in the WI T20 WC.
