CPL 2021 Welcomes Back Three Players

Shakib al Hasan, Chris Gayle, and Faf du Plessis are the three players who managed to make a comeback in the Caribbean Premier League 2021. The three will be playing the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2021, which will be taking place from the 28th of August to the 19th of September. The matches will kick off in St; Kitts and Nevis.

The three-player players will be playing for different teams in the tournament. For example, Chris Gayle will be playing for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. In 2017 and 2018, he played for this same team. Chris Gayle managed to guide the Patriots to victory in their first year at the Hero Caribbean Premier League. With his experience as the lead run-scorer in the T20’s history, he will be a massive bonus for the Patriots team.

On the other hand, Faf du Plessis will be making his way to the St. Lucia Zouks in the Caribbean Premier League 2021. The South African former captain has an outstanding performance and recommendations from the previous months from the Chennai Super Kings at the Indian Premier League. While there, he managed to make four half-centuries consecutively. This includes the 95 not-outs against the Kolkata Knight Riders. This player’s comeback in CPL 2021 will be his second comeback at the Hero Caribbean Premier League, where he played for the Patriots in 2016.

On the other hand, Shakib al Hasan will be making his comeback to the Jamaican Tallawahs for the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2021. The 2021 match will be his second time to represent the Tallawahs in a tournament. The number one spin-bowler has led the franchise in both 2016 and 2017, respectively. The list of comeback players for CPL 2021 was announced by the tournament organizers and the respective squad’s representatives.

The three players making a comeback will be an excellent boost for their respective squads as they are fierce players. The Caribbean Premier League 2021 is the best platform for them to display to the world what they can do with their skills. The Hero Caribbean Premier League 2021 will be a tough one as none of the squads is ready to take on losing. Everyone wants to win to take home the trophy.

The Hero CPL was started in 2013, and it is a franchise of T20s cricket matches that combines two remarkable aspects of Caribbean life. That is the vibrant Carnival atmosphere and the dramatic cricket.
