St Kitts & Nevis Patriots Beat Jamaica Tallawahs & Won by 6 Wickets – CPL 12th Match Result

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, led by Sherfane Rutherford, won the 12th match against Jamaica Tallawahs by six wickets. The great pairing of Sherfane and Fabian Allen changed the course of the game drastically. The Patriots were struggling in Jamaica Tallawahs vs St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, but once Rutherford and Fabian entered the field, the match looked promising.

The batters of Jamaica Tallawahs played poorly in the match, with Carlos Brathwaite gaining the top score of just 27 runs. Even that play, the game looked good for Jamaica until the last three batters of the Patriots entered the field. Pretorius’ flourish helped Tallawahs reach 166 for eight wickets. However, that wasn’t enough to win the match.

As for St Kitts, Devon Thomas and Asif Ali didn’t perform well. Evin Lewis, who got a “second chance”, so to say with the wicketkeeper Kennar Lewis, was holed out by Rovman Powell. 

Rutherford and Bopara tried building a good game relationship, but Rutherford couldn’t do well against the pacers. The scoring had dropped for St Kitts, and Lewis kept trying to continue the momentum. 

The Jamaica Tallawahs v St Kitts & Nevis Patriots match looked balanced when Ravi Bopara went out in the 15th over as the fourth wicket with 114 runs. St Kitts needed 50 runs with only five overs left. After Fabian Allen scored 17 runs with Andre Russell bowling, things looked better for the Patriots. Sherfane scored a total of 55 runs in just 20 balls, with Allen’s assist tipping the scales of victory in favour of the Patriots. 

Rutherford scored three sixes off Migael Pretorius. With just 14 balls left in the end, Allen sealed the deal by scoring six sixes.
