Yuvraj was a child prodigy that made a name for himself early on in his career. He was the son of former cricket player Yograj Singh who only got to play one Test for India. Yuvraj heeded his father’s advice, and by 15, he was living a luxurious life in Punjab away from his parents.
His Career
Yuvraj made waves in the Under-19 World Cup of 2000 by scoring many runs that contributed to his team winning the tournament. His talent caught the eye of the right people because he was recruited to play for India in the ICC knockout trophy held in Kenya. He proved that he belonged to the big stage by scoring 84 against big players like Jason Gillespie and Glenn McGrath.
