With a nail-biting win of the Royal Challengers Bangalore against Rajasthan Royals on 29th September 2021, RCB is all set to take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their next match. RCB is in the 3rd position on the points table, whereas for SRH, this season has been more of a miss than a hit. So will the Orange Army change their plans with this game, or will the Virat’s team be victorious again?
IPL 2021 has been full of surprises and thrilling moments, and the anticipation for this upcoming match is high. The IPL match between RCB vs. SRH will be held in Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on 6th October 2021.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB):
Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, Glen Maxwell, Harshal Patel, Yuzvender Chahal, S Ahmed, D Paddikal, D Christian, K Srikar Bharat, G Garton, and M Siraj.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH):
Jason Roy, Wriddhiman Shah, Kane Williamson, Jason Holder, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Abhisekh Sharma, Abdul Samad, Siddharth Kaul, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Manish Pandey.
The match between the two teams will be played in Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The pitch is known to be an aiding factor for batsmen to score runs in the ODI and Test format. Because of the dew factor here, the team that wins the toss usually prefers to bowl first. The pitch is also helpful for the players. From the last five matches that have been played here, the team that has batted first has won all the games in the T20 format. Most importantly, the field is more batsmen-friendly and can help the team to score higher runs.
At the Zayed Cricket Stadium, the average score is 146 runs in the first innings and 134 runs in the second innings. Thus, the record indicates that batting first can help the team score more. But when the dew factor is considered, it is hard to neglect the fact that the bowling team in the second innings may find it a bit difficult.
In the last match between RCB and RR, players like Maxwell, Harshal Patel, and Yuzvender Chahal shone yet again. Impeccable bowling by Chahal and Patel, aided by the half-century of Maxwell, led the team to victory. Srikar Bharat was another star who scored 44 runs in the last game. RCB has some astounding players who are in great form.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad beat RR by seven wickets in their previous game. Jason Roy and the team captain, Kane Williamson, led the team to victory where both the players scored 60 and 51 runs, respectively. Siddharth Kaul took two wickets, and Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Rashid Khan took one wicket each. It was a welcoming change and an excellent game for SRH.
Will these power-packed performers for SRH hold their own in the upcoming match? Only time will tell!
