The finalists of the IPL 2020, Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, which got organised in UAE, made certain additions to their line-up. Rajasthan Royals made history by paying the highest value ever for Chris Morris, offering a whopping ₹14.25 crore.
The auction commenced with former Rajasthan Royals skipper Steve Smith getting sold to Delhi Capitals for a price of ₹2.2 crores. Australian paceman Jhye Richardson got auctioned for a colossal ₹14 crore by Punjab Kings.
Chennai Super Kings found themselves locked in a heated bidding war with Royal Challengers Bangalore for the Australian cricketer Glen Maxwell, but eventually, RCB won the bid for a price of ₹14.25 crore. Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings acquired Krishnappa Gowtham for ₹9.25 crore.
