The second phase of the Indian Premier League will be held in three major cities, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Delhi Capitals who are at the top of the points table after completion of the first leg of the tournament in India are all fired up to replicate their outstanding performance in the second leg of IPL 2021 in UAE.
Delhi Capitals have won four games out of five in the first leg of IPL and have lost two against Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals. They will begin the second leg of their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 22 at Dubai International Cricket stadium.
The first set of players of the Delhi Capitals franchise have already arrived in UAE and the rest of the players will be joining the squad later. In line with the Covid19 safety protocols recommended by BCCI, all players participating in the second leg of IPL 2021 will be undergoing a mandatory six-day quarantine upon arrival in UAE before resuming their training sessions.
