As opposed to the present notion in Australia, most of the Aussie players are all set to be available for IPL 2021. This list includes the top players like Glenn Maxwell and David Warner. However, the Aussie cricketers are facing quite the heat from their limited-overs skipper Aaron Finch for joining the IPL 2021 schedule 2021 but opting out of Bangladesh and West Indies tours due to bubble fatigue. But Pat Cummins has already pulled out of this year’s IPL.
Seven Aussie stars, namely, Glenn Maxwell, Pat Cummins, David Warner, and others, had opted out of the Bangladesh and West Indies tours. Now, captain Aaron Finch has sent a strict warning to these players by saying that their return to IPL is not justified. Furthermore, he said that the cricketers who replaced these seven players in those tours will be considered first for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup.
There were nine players who did not participate in the West Indies tour of Australia. Out of them, Daniel Sams, Marcus Stoinis, Kane Richardson, Jhye Richarson, and Glenn Maxwell have already announced their decision to play in the IPL. The players believe since both IPL 2021 and ICC T20 World Cup will take place in the UAE, the former will act as a practice ground for them.
There is no denying that this is good news for all the IPL franchises in the IPL 2021 schedule. The teams are already suffering from the long list of pull-outs by foreign players because of COVID-19 limitations and bubble fatigue. Top cricketers like Liam Livingstone and Adam Zampa have opted out of the tournament, making their teams start a desperate search for replacements before the season restarts.
