The journey has been interesting for the Mexican Grand Prix, first held in 1962. It came back in F1 calendar 2015 after a hiatus of 12 years. The current race was supposed to be held in 2019, but due to Covid, it was shifted to 2021. The race will take place from Nov 5 to Nov 7 on a 4.304 Km Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez track in Mexico City. The distance is on the shorter side, with a total of 71 laps during the GP.

The Mexican fans are very vocal and create a terrific atmosphere besides the track making the race event even more attractive. The local boy Sergio Pérez is touted to win this race with his team Red Bull Racing, but anything can happen in a race, and we might find a rookie winner this time. But the odds favor Red Bull Racing and Mercedes teams with 8, and 6 Grand Prix wins. So will it be Max Verstappen or Lewis Hamilton, the champion driver of México Grand Prix 2021?
