Kieron Pollard was born in Tacarigua Trinidad in a humble single-parent home. His mother single-handedly brought him and his two younger sisters up. When he was eighteen, he represented Trinidad and Tobago in the 2005 TCL group Under-19 Challenge, where he performed exceptionally.

This success saw him selected to represent West Indies in the Under-19 team category in its tour of Pakistan. He gave a mixed performance that included two half-centuries but failed to reach double figures in some games. Since then, Kieron has remained relevant in the cricket scene, plying his trade around the globe.

Australia Career

  • Pollard has also played for various teams in Australia like the Melbourne Renegades (2017/2018), Adelaide strikers, and South Australia (2009-2011).
