So, recent reports say that Gill has recovered from his injury and is all set to travel to UAE for the second leg of IPL schedule 2021 in September. Trusted sources have revealed the recovery of this stunning batsman, who is now at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
The sources confirmed his recovery at the National Cricket Academy within weeks. Gill had to face some severe issues with his injury in England. His Instagram stories also depict his gym sessions, showing his fitness to play as one of the KKR team players in the upcoming matches of IPL 2021.
The last announcement by BCCI on Gill’s injury stated some severe issues with the lower left leg. Prithvi Shaw was the replacement batsman for Gill, whereas KL Rahul steered the position as opening batsman instead of Gill in the Test Series against England.
“The MRI scan confirms the developing stress and injury on the shin of Shubman Gill. He is sent back to India for his speedy recovery.” BCCI announced it last month.
