We were all disappointed when the Indian Premier League got cancelled in the middle due to the pandemic. But the second leg of IPL 2021 has brought the excitement back. Rajasthan Royals won the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2021. The RR’s captain Sanju Samson collected an undefeated 42. David Miller supported the skipper to chase the score of 134. KKR wrapped their innings with 133 runs for nine wickets. Playing 36-run innings, Rahul Tripathi was the only notable player on this side. RR won the toss and elected to ball first. Both the teams needed the win to improve their points.
Kolkata Knight Riders stand at the last position on the points table. The Franchise has played seven matches and only won two of them. On the other hand, Rajasthan Royals have won three out of seven matches that the team has played. While RR has six points, KKR managed to collect four points. Both the teams, especially KKR, need to work harder in the second phase of Indian Premier League 2021 to stand a chance against other teams.

Rajasthan Royals have a chance to qualify for the play-offs, granted it can show better performance at UAE. The Franchise has roped World’s top T20 bowler, Tabraiz Shamsi. He was the replacement of Andrew Type, who opted out of the tournament. Additionally, Jos Buttler has been replaced by Glenn Phillips for the rest of the IPL 2021.
