Indian Women’s Cricket Team Wins the 3rd ODI between Australia and India

In the 3rd ODI, i.e., India Women Vs. Australia Women 2021, India had a comfortable victory by defeating Australia by two wickets and three balls remaining in the last over. Yashtika Bhatia and Julan Goswami carried the match well, which led India to this victory.

Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. It wasn’t a great start for Australia as they just scored 28 runs after eight overs until the 9th over, which was a vast over. Australia scored 13 runs with three boundaries and a wide in the 9th over. Julan Goaswami enters to ball the Australians and takes two wickets with a maiden in the 10th over. Beth Mooney played outstanding innings with 52 runs in 64 balls. Australia set a target of 264 after 50 overs at the loss of 9 wickets.

After winning the toss 3rd time, Australia opts to bat and sets a competitive chase for India. Shefali Verma and Mandhana open for India. It was a fantastic start for India with 25 runs after the 3rd over, with 15 runs in the 3rd. Both the openers were having a great partnership in the first ten overs until Ashleigh Gardner entered and took the wicket of Mandhana. Yashtika Bhatia joins the pitch. India slows down after the fall of its first wicket. Yashika Bhatia and Shefali Verma steadily carry the match until Sophie Mollinex takes the wicket of Shefali Verma in the 30th over.

Wickets kept on falling one by one after the 30th over. But India still managed to chase the score of 264 by scoring 266 with three balls left. Yashtika Bhatia played a stunning inning by scoring 64 runs in 69 balls.
