The ICC (International Cricket Council) finally announced that the much-awaited cricket event, the T20 World Cup 2021 will be taking place. It was first decided that India will host the event but due to the rapid increase in the number of positive COVID – 19 cases, the event organizers chose to move the venue to Oman and the UAE. The event will finally begin on 17 October, and the summit clash event will take place on 14 November.
In this context, among other participating nations, Pakistan too came forward with their 15-member-strong T20 World Cup 2021 squad.
