Things may have been tough till now, but slowly, we can expect good times to be back. This year, due to covid we have seen that the schedule of cricket matches got affected many times, but now, as the situation is returning to normal, the series of cricket matches has started.
England has seen many matches in its in-house stadiums this summer. Due to the large vaccination drive in the UK, the cricket teams also now feel safe playing in England rather than other countries. England played a few test series with India in February 2021 and now they are going to face some other teams like Pakistan and Sri Lanka in their homeland.
The Pakistan cricket team will start their tour to the UK on June 25. Before going to the UK, they will first have to undergo 5 days of complete isolation, for which they will gather at Lahore on June 20 and follow all covid protocols. This time, the cricket teams are instructed very seriously for following all the covid protocols. Any of the players found violating the protocol will not be part of the England tour.
The test series between England and Pakistan is going to start on July 8, 2021. Both the teams need to put in extra efforts for winning the match, as some players from England are injured and Pakistan players also are playing international matches after a long time. Before the series starts, the teams will also have a few warm-up matches. The ODI is scheduled to happen at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, England. Tickets are selling out fast for a bilateral ODI in at least 10 years.
The date is provisional and likely to change, but still, fans can reserve with confidence with a guarantee for refund. This makes sure that buyers will be entitled to a refund in case their tickets or a fixture gets cancelled.
