Trinbago Knight Riders Declare The 13 Players Recalled For The 2021 Season

As teams prepare for the Hero Caribbean Premier League 2021, most squads have decided to maintain some of their players as some players make comebacks.

The Hero Caribbean Premier League 2021 tournament will be taking place in St. Kitts and Nevis starting from the 28th of August. During the 2020’s game held in Trinidad and Tobago, the Trinbago Knight Riders managed to win the CPL 2020 title. This year, the team is led by Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine as his vice-captain.

Some of the Trinbago Knight Riders playerslike Stalwart Darren Bravo and Lendl Simmons are among the players who are remaining in the squad. This is following their contribution to the 2020 Caribbean Premier League victory. However, there is some player who will be making a comeback ahead of the 2021 CPL matches. For example, Denesh Ramdin will be replacing Dwayne Bravo, who decided to join St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

In the coming week, the Trinbago Knight Riders will be confirming more selections of their 2021 Caribbean Premier League squad. For the time being, the fast bowler Anderson Philips and Jayden Seals are among the players who are being retained in the team. In addition, the excellent batsman Tion Webster alongside Khary Pierre and Akeal Hosein is also on the list.

The Trinbago Knight Riders 2021 playerswill have some foreign contingents like Colin Munro from New Zealand, the all-rounder Sikander Raza and Ali Khan from Zimbabwe. However, they still have four more slots to fill to complete the list.

The Trinbago Knight Riders 13 retained players include; Ali Khan, Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Jayden Seales, Colin Munro, Akeal Hosein, Darren Bravo, Tion Webster, Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin, Khary Pierre, Anderson Philips, Sikandra Raza.

Players like Sunil Narine have been a champion for the Trinbago Knight Riders for long. However, he suffered an injury in the 2020 tournament. Despite the injury, he is still retained and is expected to make the best moves to ensure the team’s victory.

Although the defending champions released four of their players ahead of the 2021 CPL, they are still confident that victory will be theirs. On the 30th of April, they announced the signing of Denesh Ramdin. He is a great player, and he is on the retention list.
