Jack Murray is a 13 year old boy who is a hardcore CPL fan and he came into the limelight a year back when his journey from fandom to amateur journalist came true thanks to his father Andrew’s support.
CPL 2021 (or Canadian Premier League 2021), which kicked off on July 30, 2021, and will end on November 6, 2021, made CPL fans to revisit the news of this hardcore CPL fanatic who came forward with his wish to play in the league one day.
Back in 2019, Jack was seen in a photo where he was flanked by members of the renowned HFX Wanderers for whom he was the designated ball boy. Later on, his passion for the game compelled his father Andrew to come up with a blog for which both he and his son would take on the role of amateur journalists in a bid to serve CPL fans with all the latest updates through their blog CPL fever.
Before the league kicked off last year, Jack and his dad Andrew participated in the online press conference along with a set of questions that helped the father-son duo to gather all the necessary information they needed to formulate a post for their blog.
Jack has always been a soccer fan and according to his father, Jack had loved Spain’s golden years that according to fans and the majority of the world population who follow the game is from the year 2008 till the year 2012.
Before the league existed, both Jack and his father Andrew strengthened their relationship by watching soccer games played by European teams. They also participated in uploading videos on the popular video posting channel YouTube where they reviewed each match enthusiastically! Even to this day, Jack, apart from helping his father runs their blog CPL Fever, practices at least five times a week in a bid to hone his soccer skills.
Only time will tell whether or not the little boy’s dreams of playing in the Canadian Premier League becomes a reality or not.
